James P. Roche, CFP®

Private Wealth Advisor

Jim manages a successful financial planning practice specializing in retirement planning, wealth management and wealth distribution strategies. Jim started building his financial planning practice in 2001 when he partnered with Lincoln Financial Advisors.

Prior to joining Lincoln Financial Advisors, Jim took a year off to travel around the world. "My success in financial services allowed me the opportunity to pursue my lifelong dream to travel to some of the most interesting places on earth. Along the way I met entrepreneurs and successful business people in Africa, Europe, Australia, and Nepal. My travel experiences helped me form the business plan that has developed into a career that allows me to help others achieve their financial goals".

Jim is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association. He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from the University of Hartford, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Bryant University. Jim was a member of the Finance Committee in the town of Douglas from 2004 to 2011.

Jim began his career in financial services with The Travelers Asset Management and Pension Services Group in 1991. He joined CIGNA Financial Services in 1996 and served in various management roles including Director of Marketing and Sales.

Jim and his daughter, Haley, live in Shrewsbury, Mass.

Aprille Bryant

Administrative Assistant


Aprille is an Administrative Assistant at Sagemark Consulting, a division of Lincoln Financial Advisors. She has a Bachelor’s in English from Smith College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in printmaking from UMass at Amherst. She has been working at the Windsor, CT office since 2008.
